STRATEGIC CROSS-CUTTING THEME 1- GENDER JUSTICE AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

In this strategic priority the program seeks to address:

  1. The limited participation of women in leadership in both church and society
     

  2. The prevalence of gender based violence
     

  3. The limited capacity of member churches and the ZCC to to deal with the economic marginalization

 

Intervention

This program intervenes by

  1. Facilitating the churches to develop gender justice Raising awareness and interest among member churches and identified communities to the need to embrace active citizenship for nation-building processes
     

  2. Working with churches, civil society and the relevant agencies of the state to raise awareness of the 2013 national constitution:

  • Guaranteeing the continuity of the ZCC work beyond the availability of external donor funding

STRATEGIC CROSS-CUTTING THEME 3- YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

  • Guaranteeing the continuity of the ZCC work beyond the availability of external donor funding

STRATEGIC CROSS-CUTTING THEME 4- THEOLOGICAL AND CRITICAL REFLECTION

  • Theological and critical reflection informing all the work of the ZCC

STRATEGIC CROSS-CUTTING THEME 5- INCLUSION 

  • Guaranteeing the continuity of the ZCC work beyond the availability of external donor funding
